India is a complex country, the diversity is ever present and ever growing. What got me going in my deep meditative thinking is having a discussion with my Dad. We have evolved from the just enough generation to over the edge generation. Things that were uncommon during my growing up years and now the basic necessity of this generation.
I have lived in the generation of folks who had lived through the technological leap, from dialing the copper wire based phone which came after repeated requests or through a connection (political or otherwise) to having paid for incoming calls which were much costlier for the lucky few who had those bulky mobiles.
Just pondering over the discussion I had with a colleague sometime back. If we introspect the process of how we have evolved (not talking about the Genealogy) but the IT revolution generation.
The 70’s and 80’s born generation are the one who were blessed in ways in India to have had the opportunity to pursue a fatter pay-cheque in private sector
